Langold Lake
Welcome to the Friends of Langold Lake website
Langold Country Park covers around 300 acres of land, which includes woodland, 2 large lakes, wildlife meadows, walkways, and areas of recreation. It's a park steeped in history with important wildlife habitat areas and these we hope to balance with the recreational needs of those visiting. Getting here :
Langold Country Park is situated in Bassetlaw (North Nottinghamshire) within the A1 / M1 triangle 11 miles south of Doncaster and 5 miles north of Worksop on the A60 Doncaster Rd.
Entrances to the park are off Doncaster Rd, (With a pleasant 2 minute woodland walk to the lake) or off main entrance top of Church St (Parking by the lake).
Opening times for parking are:
- 8.30am to 9pm in the summer.
- 9am to 5pm in the winter.
Car parking is £1
Amenities in the park include:
Playground, toilets, Andy's café, bandstand, picnic area, woodland adventure pathways, football pitch, skateboard Park, and a natural spring. Activities occur throughout the year and can be found in the events diary.
